Multimedia Journalism Portfolio

I will be graduating in May of 2026 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Journalism and two areas of specialization: Recreation, Sport, and Tourism and Public Relations. I am also a recipient of the SportMedia Certificate and a two-time Dean's List recipient in the College of Media. 

I have been a member of the university's student newsroom since 2023, being a lead anchor for UI7 Newsroom's Illini Sports Night for the past year. I also work with the university's Big Ten Student U program, allowing me to cover all Illinois sports, enhance my TV writing and reporting skills, build my on-camera confidence, and dabble in all journalistic mediums. 

My post-graduation goal is to work in the sports world, whether it's reporting live on camera, photographing the next big game, interviewing an athlete about their commitment, or running a professional team's Instagram. My four years at Illinois have prepared me immensely for the unpredictable world of sports, and I am the worker you want when things get unpredictable.
